Developing The Attitude Of Christ!

We are Living in some exciting times. God is showing that We can depend on Him.  He’s only asking us to be obedient to His Will. Amen. 

Let’s look in  Phil 2:5-8- Make your attitude that of Christ Jesus who existing in the form of God, did not  consider equality with God as something to be used for His own advantage. Instead He emptied Himself by assuming the form of a slave, taking on the likeness of men.  And when He had come as a man in His external form. He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of His death-even to death on a cross. 

Paul is telling us that we ought to set our minds like Christ. And having Jesus mind-set is to allow our thoughts and actions to be as Christ.  Jesus never claimed, " Oh I am sick, Oh I have nothing, Oh I will get my drink on this weekend, or I will cheat this person and lets see will they know the difference".  This is not the thoughts of Christ.  This way of thinking is not Jesus mind-set. We can not live one day living for Jesus and the next the devil. You can't do it, you will only  be deceiving your own heart.  When you live by the word of God. People will say you are trying to act like God.  There is no three ways, either you are living for God or the devil.  I choose God, what about you?  So Paul is saying, Speak like Jesus, Walk like Jesus, do as Jesus.  And you will see the manifestation of God's power here on earth. Amen! To God Be The Glory!
